All kinds of winds go through Vasilyevsky Island, often called the heart of St. Petersburg – cold and warm, calming and crushing... Every building and every tree there know a lot about these winds. Sometimes they seem to open another plane of accustomed reality. Wandering through courtyards and streets one may easily loose the sense of space and time, finding some absolutely new ways and views... Shortcut turns into a journey, sky color looks different, wind changes directions as if hinting to some other way, leading to something... Maybe it's the magic of such places or just pure imagination, but the music of Tretiy Mir carries that beautiful and a bit melancholic feeling of being lost and found, of being here and nowhere.

'Lives At Port And Other Dimensions' is a collection of diverse ambient compositions by St. Petersburg based duo of Pavel and Tanya, recording under name Tretiy Mir (The Third World) and known for their numerous live performances at local events and festivals.
